R.I.P. 'Lefty' Rosenthal

The Los Angeles Times reported Thursday on the death of Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal, who parlayed his sports gambling super-genius into a cozy partnership with, um, certain Italian-American families, and a spot at the top of the Vegas food chain.
